Situated in the heart of Nidderdale, "The Courtyard" at Duke's Place is a well-maintained discreet group ofholiday cottages converted from the original stables, Granary and outbuildings which adjoin Duke's Place.Three charming Bed & Breakfast (B&B) rooms await you in the owner's Georgian home which, with the working stables, helps to form an enclosed courtyard that features a fountain in the centre creating a tranquil environment and a relaxing atmosphere.
Guests who choose to tour the Yorkshire Dales and visit the many beauty spots or historical buildings that are on our doorstep can be assured that upon their return they can unwind at their leisure and enjoy the many facilities that The Courtyard has to offer.
You may wish to simply relax and talk over the day's events in our peaceful surroundings whilst the children play in the log cabin playhouse in the Beech Wood. On the other hand you may elect to take advantage of our DIY livery at our stables and go horse riding, or stroll through the grounds where ducks freely wander, often followed by their offspring. We have 16 acres of grassland associated with Duke's Place, frequented by our horses, alpaccas and sheep, so there is plenty of scope for wandering.
